200 hour Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher Training

Becoming a Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher sets you up with a foundation in the essentials needed to teach Yoga in the complex modern world with professionalism, sensitivity and integrity.
This training will provide you with the skills you need to look after your students with wisdom and care and support yourself as a leader so you can build a sustainable career. The in-depth training also helps you uncover your own blind spots and biases so you’re better able to create safer spaces for the needs of diverse students.

Becoming a Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher sets you up to:
- Have a well rounded understanding of Yogic philosophy and practices that’s translatable to modern audiences

Define, articulate, protect and nourish your own boundaries so you can serve, lead and care for yourself and others sustainably

Understand and be attentive to the diverse needs that might appear in your Yoga room

Deepen your own personal relationship with your yoga practice (not just asana!) so you have lived experience and a robust foundation of knowledge to teach from

Understand the body’s evolutionary responses to stress and how the practices of Yoga can be used to interact with these for relaxation, focus and connection
The course is delivered in 10 modules deigned to provide you with the skills and expertise to step confidently into teaching Trauma-Informed Yoga professionally on graduation.

Who is this course for?
This training is for you if you’re passionate about teaching Yoga in an accessible and inclusive manner. If you’re interested in ‘deepening your practice’ by learning about aspects of Yoga other than asana you’re still welcome to join but be aware that the course is designed to prepare you to TEACH Yoga safely and well to the general population. Accessible yoga isn’t just about mastering asana, but about helping individuals find their own path to the Yoga that is right for them.
You’ll leave the course with a catalogue of classes you have designed and practised teaching, a clear and well articulated sense of the teacher you want to be so you can begin building your brand and professional networks so you can confidently step off the student’s mat and into the role of Certified Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher
