The Yoga Institute offers world class, comprehensive yoga studies and teacher training. We offer a nurturing community-based environment in which to study, to help you obtain and add to your qualifications.

500-Hour Yoga Teacher Training 

Study with us, 1-year part-time with flexible structure and study options. Registered with Yoga Australia as a Level 1 course.  With a thorough and rich curriculum, the freedom to do some things at your own pace, as well as live access to our expert panel of teachers, plus step-by-step practicum, and a dedicated one-on-one mentoring component, we can help you become a confident and capable yoga teacher ready to share your love of yoga with the world.  Our 500-hour course can be done with a preference for in-studio attendance, or weighted more towards online lessons. With a variety of training stream options and the flexibility to move across training streams, we can help you fit training for your location and lifestyle.  All 500-hour Teacher Training qualifications include at least a portion of face-to-face time at our Cammeray (Sydney) premises.

We cater for people outside of Sydney with an option to do the face-to-face portions in 3 key timeframes: August, October and December.

Prefer to start with a reduced commitment? 

Our (100 hrs) part-time Yoga Studies course is also available, perfect for those who want to study for personal development, and to deepen their own practice.  If you decide later you would like to compete the full 500-hour Teacher Training qualification, you’re already part-way there!  The 100-hour course counts towards the 500-hour course.
