Elevate Your Practice and Empower Lives with Trauma-Informed Mental Health Yoga Teacher Training. Are you ready to take your yoga teaching skills to the next level and make a profound impact on the lives of others?

Look no further! Our comprehensive 120-hour Trauma-Informed Mental Health Yoga Teacher Training is designed to equip you with the essential knowledge and expertise to become a compassionate and effective yoga teacher in the realm of mental health.

WHY?

The 21st century is super fast, noisy, stimulating and irritating. We are not made for this speed and sensory bombardment…it is truly not easy to be a human in a not-so-human world. So we must equip ourselves with the tools to cope with the constant bombardment of our senses and our mind. From breathing to a change of attitude, we can equip ourselves with the means to thrive here rather than just survive.

We need you…

people need you – The world is in a mental health strife and you can help!

HOW

In this program, we are going to work with our, minds and hearts, our breath, our body, our senses and our community to affect the positive change we crave. Practical knowledge we can apply right away and individual and group practices to shift our mood and perspective will be the pillars of our work together.

Through our own experiences in the program, we will learn how to induce a transformation in others.

MINDFULNESS

When we are more mindful of our thoughts and feelings we can take responsibility for our actions and reactions and we can recreate different mental pathways to create the life we want

a life we don’t want to escape from, a life we can fully enjoy.

The program is full of mindful tools from East and West to help us lift ourselves up and live to our full potential.

YOGA

Trauma and emotions get stuck in the body, when we move and stretch in intentional ways we can release this stagnant energy and be open again to living with confidence, balance and joy. This is the magic of yoga!

The mind is complicated so we start with the body and watch the rest of the journey unfold.

PSYCHOLOGY

When you learn how to understand and master your nervous system, you can cultivate a life of balance, peace, and enjoyment. Understanding and liberating our unconscious mind is vital to letting go of what we don’t need, loving ourselves, and experiencing freedom. Knowing our reason for being, and living out a meaningful and purposeful life, is a recipe for happiness and fulfilment.

Knowledge is power and freedom. By knowing our minds and how they function we can start directing our lives to where we want them to flow and help others to steer to a more positive mindset and manifestation as well.

COMMUNITY

We are social animals and to thrive we need human connections just like we need food and water. No one can claim to do it all on their own. Even though we do need to do the work ourselves and become our own friends, we are interdependent and a helping hand and a nudge or even a little kick in the behind from a community that keeps you accountable goes a long way in helping us move forward and upwards on this path.

The work in this training will be done together in the Rainbow Yoga spirit and you will receive many tools to share with your clients not just in individual work but also in group settings.
