SUMMARY:Relieving Stiffness and Pain
DESCRIPTION:The somatic movement solution anyone can do\nA two-and-a-half-hour workshop with Tina Shettigara\nPerhaps you are in a body that has seen many birthdays already. Perhaps it hasbeen injured or you have conditions like fibromyalgia. Whatever the reason\, the thing we have in common is stiffness and pain in the body. It makes us not want to move\, but unfortunately that can often make it worse! \nGentle movements that really work\nIn this workshop you will learn gentle movements that really work to relieve the stiffness and pain that is holding you back from full enjoyment of life.I have seen amazing improvements for many people and in my own body\, especially in these areas of pain\, low range of motion and postural problems: \n\nLower back\nNeck and shoulders\nHips\nHamstrings\nJaws\nHead forward posture\nStooping\nSway back\n\nSuitable for nearly everyone\nThe movements are exceedingly gentle. In this workshop we will do most of our work lying on a yoga mat on the floor. Ability to get down there and up again later (albeit slowly perhaps) is all that is needed. A chair next to your mat to assist you in this is fine. \nParticipants will need to bring their own yoga mat. (If you can’t please contact me as I can provide a few.) \nInvestment\n$65 per participant $50 concession for pensioners\, health card holders\, full time students and Veterans card holders – use coupon code SOM-CONC when paying \n2 February 2025\n1.30 – 4:00 pm \nEliza Hall @ Payinthi\nProspect Council Centre128 Prospect RoadProspect SA 5082 \n$65\nConcession $50 REGISTER HERE
