SUMMARY:RETURNING TO SACRED BALANCE – AUTUMN EQUINOX IMMERSION WITH EMMA PALMER
DESCRIPTION:Our Autumn Equinox Immersion is an opportunity to meet yourself as we approach this point of balance – between effort and surrender\, clarity and mystery\, form and formlessness. It is a space to soften the nervous system\, stabilise the inner climate and return authority to the quiet intelligence of the body and breath. The subtle energies of the equinox support the practices of meditation\, mantra and attunement to the true self\, while samatva (or equilibrium of solar and lunar forces) brings steadiness to the mind and nervous system\, making this an auspicious moment for sacred practice\, deep contemplation and realignment with one’s dharmic path.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWith this in mind\, Emma opens the energy of the space through mantra and subtle attunement\, invoking the balancing intelligence of the Equinox and guiding you into a shared field of presence grounded in yogic psychology and sacred philosophy. A slow\, intentional āsana practice follows\, designed to stabilise the body\, soothe the nervous system\, and create spaciousness through the joints and subtle channels. As the nāḍī become free and open\, prāṇa begins to circulate more freely\, prāṇāyāma practices are introduced to support grounding\, equilibrium\, and refined inner listening. These practices gently regulate the nervous system and cultivate steadiness\, the inner stillness from which discernment naturally arises.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMeditation then draws awareness inward\, beyond habitual mental activity\, into the quiet witnessing field beneath thought. Here\, balance is not something to achieve\, but something revealed. Insight unfolds through presence rather than effort\, allowing a deeper alignment of body\, mind and subtle awareness. The immersion concludes with a long\, guided savāsana and contemplative integration\, offering space for the teachings to settle and be absorbed. This closing invites a deep listening to inner guidance\, a remembering of what it feels like to live in rhythm with both the cycles of nature and the wisdom of your own inner seasons.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThroughout the Immersion\, Emma gently weaves poetry\, sacred story and carefully chosen readings into the practice\, allowing ancient wisdom and evocative language to illuminate the teachings\, soften the heart and deepen the contemplative field as the journey unfolds. Each element of the immersion is carefully woven to support grounding\, clarity and embodied balance\, offering a sacred pause at the turning of the season and a return to centre before the descent into the quieter\, inward months ahead.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMOKSHA IMMERSIONS\nExplore into the deeper layers of your practice\, experience its transformational gifts and allow the true essence of liberation to become realised by immersing yourself in a 3-hour journey devoted to your mind\, your body and your spirit – open to students and seekers of all levels of experience.\n\nEmma’s Immersions are cherished gatherings that always fill quickly\, so to secure your place in this sacred space it is recommended to book early.
