SUMMARY:VEDIC CHANTING CLASSES
DESCRIPTION:Improve your memory and focus. –  Reduce mental agitation  –  Increase your breath capacity. –  Improve listening and communication skills –  Find and refine your own voice  –   Increase your self confidence. –  Strengthen you spiritual connection  –  Gain an overall sense of well-being!! \nVedic Chanting is yoga\, it is concentration\, meditation\, it is prāṇāyāma\, it is jñāna and it is bhakti. It is a commitment to learning something very deep. \nI am asked what the Vedas have to do with Yoga. Well\, the Vedas contain it\, the Vedas are themselves Yoga. That is what this is all about. \nThat said\, you don’t need anything to practice and learn. If you want to know something in you that will surprise you a lot\, this will surely interest you. It is not easy\, but it is enriching. It is not quick\, but it is one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard. \nChanting controls and transforms the Prāṇā\, it is a feeling of merging with the Universal vibration\, and it is rediscovering oneself anew in a practice very little known in the West. \nIn these classes you will learn how to pronounce Sanskrit\, you will learn the correct way to recite some Vedic mantras\, such as the popular Gāyatrī\, as it was taught in ancient times\, unchanged\, orally and following the rules of a South Indian lineage. \nYou don’t need to know how to sing\, or how to tune\,  in Vedic Chanting we only use 3 notes not 7 as in music \, this makes it accessible to everyone! \nChanting classes are conducted seated\, either on the floor or on a chair. It is important to feel comfortable so that you are able to focus only on the sound.  All chants will be taught through a “call and response” methodology\, using the aid of chant texts. The basic rules of Chanting\, along with general meanings of chants will be explained. \nThese classes are for you if you want to learn more about mantra practice. If you are a yoga teacher or student and you want to introduce Chanting in your classes or you want to work with mantras in your personal practice \nhttps://dendupratyoga.com/vedic-chant/ \n

SUMMARY:The Insight of Oneness
DESCRIPTION:Oneness – Oneness is experienced through many spiritual and religious practices and is part of the awakened brain experience. The experience of oneness occurs when we become one with the rhythm of life. Here\, the parietal lobes tend to show a reduction in blood flow as we experience oneness or unity. The parietal lobes are responsible for our sense of self in relation to the world. The parietal lobes have a significant reduction in blood flow as we experience oneness and loss of separate self. The parietal lobes are affected during prayer or spiritual practice\, which gives rise to a loss of self\, time and space\, opening the mind into states of samadhi. We become one with all. To have a deeper spiritual understanding is to realise that we are all one. Not only is this philosophically beneficial\, but the evidence here shows how it can be mentally and physically beneficial. Spirituality is not just an idea but a deeper alignment with our truest nature. \nWe will explore one-ness in its truest form with meditation practice and explorer the following self-enquiry questions to awaken human consciousness: \n\nWho is thinking\, seeing\, observing?\nDo we create our reality?\nDo our pain and our past create our present moment?\nIf we do not create our ultimate reality\, who does?\n\nLet us explore a level of enlightened consciousness….oneness with all.

SUMMARY:Meditation for Pain Relief - Listening & Learning From Our Pain
DESCRIPTION:If pain has been a persistent presence in your life\, this retreat is specially designed for you. For many who live with chronic pain\, finding effective relief can be a complex journey. While treatments like medical cannabis and painkillers may offer temporary comfort\, lasting relief often requires a deeper understanding of pain itself. Research has shown that true progress in managing chronic pain comes not from external substances\, but from retraining the brain’s response to pain. Although conventional treatments like cortisol injections and painkillers may provide short-term relief\, they often fail to produce lasting change. Instead\, a thoughtful\, committed approach to reshaping how the brain perceives and responds to pain has proven to be more effective. \nJoin Celia Roberts BSc for “Meditations for Pain Relief\,” where you will learn to engage with pain through stillness\, self-inquiry\, and meditation. Celia’s unique approach emphasises quiet presence\, allowing you to listen and learn from the pain\, understanding the hidden messages it may hold. Pain often has a story to tell\, a hidden past\, and by acknowledging it\, you can begin to transform your relationship with it. This retreat will provide an opportunity for self exploration so you may begin to explore the cause of any physical\, menstrual\, digestive pain\, including headaches and chronic discomfort\, guiding you on a path toward long-term relief and liberation. We will also reflect on current research\, which reveals how an overuse of techniques can disrupt natural biological pathways of safety\, especially important in pain recovery and trauma-informed care. Together\, let us explore how pain\, often our most insightful teacher\, can lead to deeper self-awareness and healing\, not necessarily through more activities or techniques\, but by simply being\, keeping quiet\, and understanding that deep relief and true peace come from within. \nTogether\, let us explore how pain\, often our wisest teacher\, can lead to deeper self-awareness and healing.

SUMMARY:Decoding Wisdom Body Retreats
DESCRIPTION:2 Day Retreat  – Non-Residential \nDr Pee Tek Chan is calling you to join him in an enchanted learning in Awakening through the highest potential of Yoga –  meditation\, absorption\, samadhi. In the retreat you will learn Part 1 of the movement meditation called The Form Reality Practice (The Form)\, a profound vehicle in opening\, transcending and realising higher states of Consciousness. Dr Chan teaches through spontaneous transmission arising from his Awakening in Self-Realisation and Sahaja Samadhi. The essence of the retreat includes open honest dialogue and earnest deep self-enquiry. Learning to give voice to everything that is moving within our innermost Spirit is the practice of giving Light to Consciousness of what we Truly Are. \nDuring this experiential retreat\, you will also learn to bow and drop deep into your amazing Light Body through the movement of The Form. This profound practice is a dynamic conscious movement of pure Love of the subtle body\, Anandamaya Kosha and beyond. You will learn through moving from the interface of the Formless and Form\, Consciousness and Light\, Fullness and Emptiness\, the pure dance of the union of Shiva-Shakti\, opening the door to Pratyabhijna\, the path of no-path. The dance Integrates the divine Masculine/ Feminine moving as Oneness\, opening the central channel\, awakening the Kundalini which arises like a Cobra. \nThe Form is an intelligent evolving movement that flows from where you have arrived in the moment\, taking you into the next purification into Beingness.  In this retreat you will learn Part 2 of The Form. Part 1 is The Opener\, The Way Shower\, breaking new ground for Heart-Mind communion.  Part 2 is initiating the chakras\, merging Consciousness and Light to flow as One Shiva-Shakti. \nThe retreat offers a safe space for this vulnerable work in opening our hearts in honesty\, learning to bow into the innate capacity to Transfigure. \nAttendance is subject to having learnt Part 1 of The Form \nCPD certificates available on request for Yoga Australia\, Yoga Alliance\, ACA and AACHP. \n
