SUMMARY:The Spiritual Teachings of Emptiness or Shunyata
DESCRIPTION:“Thanks to impermanence\, everything is possible. Life itself is possible.” \n\nThich Nhat Hanh\, No Death\, No Fear: Comforting Wisdom for Life \nThe concept of emptiness\, or shunyata\, in yoga and Buddhism is often associated with the realisation that energy is not bound to form\, and that there is a spaciousness or still point underneath all the chaos of the world. This emptiness is not a void\, but a zero point that connects everything and is the essence of all energy. Through deep personal exploration\, we can come to accept impermanence and the gift it brings\, leading to deep internal freedom and a truer understanding of love. We can let go of our attachment to the forms and manifestations of the people we love\, realising that they are still present in different forms\, and that nothing is truly lost or destroyed. The teachings of emptiness remind us of the interconnectedness of all things and offer a path to peace and acceptance in the face of loss and change. \nIn this session we shall explore the science of emptiness both inside and outside the body\, exploring the following line of enquiry: \n\nThe Spiritual Teachings of Emptiness or Shunyata\nHow deep personal exploration and insight can lead to deep internal freedom\nThe acceptance of impermanence within our bodies\, even our breath\nHow impermanence is indeed a miracle\, not something to be feared or resisted\nBecause of the gift of impermanence\, anything is possible

SUMMARY:VEDIC CHANTING CLASSES
DESCRIPTION:Improve your memory and focus. –  Reduce mental agitation  –  Increase your breath capacity. –  Improve listening and communication skills –  Find and refine your own voice  –   Increase your self confidence. –  Strengthen you spiritual connection  –  Gain an overall sense of well-being!! \nVedic Chanting is yoga\, it is concentration\, meditation\, it is prāṇāyāma\, it is jñāna and it is bhakti. It is a commitment to learning something very deep. \nI am asked what the Vedas have to do with Yoga. Well\, the Vedas contain it\, the Vedas are themselves Yoga. That is what this is all about. \nThat said\, you don’t need anything to practice and learn. If you want to know something in you that will surprise you a lot\, this will surely interest you. It is not easy\, but it is enriching. It is not quick\, but it is one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard. \nChanting controls and transforms the Prāṇā\, it is a feeling of merging with the Universal vibration\, and it is rediscovering oneself anew in a practice very little known in the West. \nIn these classes you will learn how to pronounce Sanskrit\, you will learn the correct way to recite some Vedic mantras\, such as the popular Gāyatrī\, as it was taught in ancient times\, unchanged\, orally and following the rules of a South Indian lineage. \nYou don’t need to know how to sing\, or how to tune\,  in Vedic Chanting we only use 3 notes not 7 as in music \, this makes it accessible to everyone! \nChanting classes are conducted seated\, either on the floor or on a chair. It is important to feel comfortable so that you are able to focus only on the sound.  All chants will be taught through a “call and response” methodology\, using the aid of chant texts. The basic rules of Chanting\, along with general meanings of chants will be explained. \nThese classes are for you if you want to learn more about mantra practice. If you are a yoga teacher or student and you want to introduce Chanting in your classes or you want to work with mantras in your personal practice \nhttps://dendupratyoga.com/vedic-chant/ \n

SUMMARY:Winter Solstice Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:We’re diving deep into the Solstice void already my love. do you feel it stirring within you too? The darkness envelops us\, creeping closer day by day\, inviting us to pause\, recognise & prepare to honour the gifts of our own darkest night. \n☬ for only then can we know & love all parts of self \n☬ only then can we ascend into our authentic light \nThis is the sacred & transformational power of SHAKTI⚡️ She is all of creation\, She the Divine immanent\, She is the here & now. \nAs one of my fave psychologists of all time\, Carl Jung\, so eloquently stated ‘until you make the unconscious conscious\, it will direct your life & you will call it fate’. \nI remember my mum introducing me to his work at a young age & perhaps that’s what inspired me to study psychology. I can’t say for sure\, but I do know that my bestie @thea_phania & I would devour his work & discuss it well into the night when we were fresh teenagers. \n@thea_phania has since studied & worked with the dark goddesses\, & she’s taught me so much about the beauty of the mud from which the lotus grows. \nI’ve wanted to share her energy with you all for some time now & she’s finally agreed to sit in circle with us\, this time\, not only as a participant of our unique mandala\, but as an enormously knowledgeable & intuitive contributor. \n✨we are blessed ✨ \nMama Cacao will expand our hearts inward\, & through the ancient medicine of myth\, movement\, mantra\, meditation\, breath & ritual\, we’ll travel together dancing with\, & loving\, our ‘darkest’ self to the extent we finally glimpse the light on the other side. \n〰️ just as the solstice teaches 〰️ \n☬ when: saturday 21 june\, 5-7pm \n☬ where: Dunghutti Country\, Crescent Head \n☬ how much: ceremony & dinner $79 \nI’ve facilitated many solstice ceremonies. I’m not sure i’ve ever been as excited as i am for this one. \nSolstice magic is arriving my love & places around the fire are limited. join us for an evening like no other.

SUMMARY:Embodied Organic Flow - A Yoga Day Event
DESCRIPTION:Awakening Body\nA two and a half hour embodiment experience with Tina Shettigara\nFully inhabiting the state of embodiment is to bring somatic awareness to every moment. Conscious Movement\, Embodiment Practice\, Embodied Movement are expressions people are using to describe a way of cultivating such awareness. \nIn this workshop we embrace Conscious Movement practice to explore the idea of being “organic\,” relating to or derived from living matter\, and/or organic\, as in our relationship to our organs\, and being anchored in our organs! \nWe also play with the word flow\, which in the yoga world has come to be synonymous with vinyasa\, linked and connected practice of āsana\, yoga postures. We also explore how we experience the flow of energy in our bodies\, and the flow of our fluid mass\, or of our organs within the body\, shifting as we change position. \nMovements may sometimes appear as yogāsana\, but you should be prepared to depart from the yoga formulae to roll on the floor and embrace free form movement through space as you undertake your embodiment experiments. \nThis fluid and organic embodied inquiry will culminate in a long śavāsana. \nLEARN MORE \nWhen and where\nSunday June 22 INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA\n2:00 – 4.30 pm\nTara Hall (behind Buddha House)\n2/496 Magill Rd\, Magill SA 5072

SUMMARY:Parent and Child Yoga at Sol Yoga\, Willunga
DESCRIPTION:Are you looking for something to do with your child that is fun and relaxing both at the same time? Join Antje from Flow and Grow Family Yoga for an afternoon of joyful connection with your little one!\nAntje’s family yoga sessions are neither adult yoga with kids\, nor kids’ yoga with adults. Instead\, classes are designed specifically to deepen the connection between you and your child.\n \nWe will be weaving together elements of play and storytelling\, asana (yoga postures) and mindfulness practices\, relaxation techniques\, a dash of acro yoga\, and each participant’s own creative spirit. \nAlong the way\, we’ll release stress and anxiety\, connect with our (inner) child\, and strengthen body and mind. \nNo previous yoga experience is required! \nTwo session times on offer: \n\nSession 1 at 2pm for parents and children aged 3-5 years\nSession 2 at 3.15pm for parents and children aged 6-12 years\n\nTESTIMONIALS \n\n“My 4.5 year old and I had a ball at Antje’s family yoga class. It was fun\, creative\, energising\, and calming all at the same time. Most of all it was a wonderful opportunity for one-on-one connection\, especially important now that my child has a younger sibling. Thank you for the beautiful class\, we’re both looking forward to coming back soon!” (Lara\, mother of two) \n \n\n\n“My 8 year old daughter and I have absolutely loved each and every aspect of Antje’s parents and kids yoga sessions. Each class we’ve attended has had a different theme which has captured my daughter’s imagination and sense of fun but what I have loved most is the chance to share yoga with my child\, connect without outside pressures and look into each other’s eyes as we play\, move\, dance and rest! Antje is a warm\, grounded\, calm and professional yogi with a true gift for teaching and holding space for families.” (Emmy\, mother of two) \n \n\n\n“I brought my daughter here for a parent/child yoga class and it was a really lovely experience. Antje was a wonderful instructor with thoughtful and intentional components for both the children and the adults. We loved it!” (Linly) \n\n\n“I’ve done a few different family yoga classes and Antje’s recent class in Aldinga\, SA\, has been my favourite by far. She has such a lovely presence\, and I love her emphasis on connection. I actually became a bit emotional in the final cuddle part of the session – it really emphasised for me how much we don’t make time to just BE with our kids enough\, especially 1:1. My 5yo LOVED it\, and we both look forward to more classes!“ (Nicole\, mother of three) \n\n\n“Amazing parent/child workshop today. My son is so excited to return. Thank you Antje.” (Torri\, mother of one) \n\n\n“We did the 5 week family yoga workshop and it was such a treat! We both really enjoyed spending time together and the classes were perfectly tailored for children. It was so much more fun and imaginative than I ever expected. Would highly recommend and would definitely do another one!” (Kellie Anne\, mother of two) \n \n\nPlease note: \nAs the focus is on one-on-one connection\, a one child/one grown-up policy applies. If you’re interested in a Family Yoga for All session\, please consider joining my mailing list to stay in the loop for upcoming sessions the whole family can attend. \nPrice is per adult-child couple (=2 people).

SUMMARY:Solstice Sadhana ~ Yoga\, Movement & Meditation with Delamay Devi
DESCRIPTION:Embodied Ritual ~ Astrology ~ Intention ~ Self enquiry ~ Celebration \nYou’re invited to join Delamay online in celebration of the Solstice\, a sacred juncture marking the longest and shortest day of the year! \nThe Solstice is a time of celebration\, renewal and new beginnings! \nDuring this sacred juncture\, the northern hemisphere is experiencing long bright warm days while being bathed in the illuminating light of the Sun (Summer Solstice). Simultaneously\, the southern hemisphere is experiencing shorter cooler days while being bathed in the fertile darkness of night time (Winter Solstice). \nThe word Solstice is derived from the Latin word sol (sun) and sistere (to stand still)\, during the solstice the Sun appears to stand still or pause at this peak before reversing direction\, taking us towards the time of equal day and night or the Equinox. \nAll around the world the Solstice is celebrated in different ways to symbolise new beginnings\, a celebration of harvest\, a time of letting go of the old to make space for the new\, it’s a powerful time to shed and say good bye to what is no longer serving or sustaining your life. This very obvious experience of the natural world in this peaking state of illuminating light and fertile darkness is a powerful time to plant seed intentions for the coming cycle\, to manifest your dreams and desires and to be open to transformations while trusting the unknown! \nAstroogically during this Solstice time the Sun moves into Cancer. The archetype of Cancer encourages self care and self love while taking care of your Heart fire. It’s a wonderful time to connect with the element of Water while cultivating strength and courage to put yourself first. \nRegardless of which hemisphere you’re in\, this gathering will honour both the peaking light and fertile darkness with astrology insights\, self enquiry and journalling plus a card reading before moving into our movement meditation and yoga practice. We’ll complete with a guided relaxation for connection and somatic integration. \nThis 90 minute gathering will leave you feeling inspired and clear for the coming cycle!\nAll welcome\, no exprience necessary. \nThe Zoom link will be sent the day before we gather and the recording will follow 24 hours after the gathering with forever access!

SUMMARY:Meditation to Reclaim Your Personal Power
DESCRIPTION:“Power over others is weakness disguised as strength.” \n\n— Eckhart Tolle \nIn life\, many of us find ourselves caught in cycles of pain and suffering\, whether as the abuser or the abused\, in personal or professional relationships. We often feel powerless against these forces. Yet\, there is a way out of this delusion. Instead of directing blame outward\, we must turn inward\, acknowledging our own part in these dynamics. By recognising our mental projections reflected in our external world\, we can begin to refine and polish our inner reflection. This shift empowers us to reclaim our own power\, moving away from feelings of helplessness. Taking ownership of our behaviour can be daunting\, but it is also liberating\, as we realise our minds are the creators of all. As His Holiness Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche said\, “When someone harms you\, see them as a kind teacher\, showing you the path to liberation and meriting your respect.” Through compassion\, firm intention\, and self-awareness\, we learn that everything in life can be achieved with love and devotion\, without the need for force or control. Ultimately\, we find the balance between the wisdom of complete powerlessness and the profound compassion of being at one with all. \nThis retreat is designed to help you break free from reactive energies and release self-abusive and destructive patterns that may have kept you feeling trapped in vicious cycles. By understanding the impact of habitual mental loops (vasanas) and triggers (samskaras)\, you will gain insight into how these latent impressions shape your behaviour\, often leading to reactions rooted in past experiences. Through meditation\, pranayama\, kriyas and deep contemplation\, this retreat will offer you the opportunity to address deep-seated attitudes and habits\, providing tools to consciously manage emotional reactions and create new virtuous cycles within you and all around you. \nDrawing from Yoga-Vedanta teachings\, the program will explore how vasanas\, karmas\, and samskaras interact with the chakras and kundalini energy\, and how the five shaktis (creation\, preservation\, destruction\, veiling\, and grace) influence our lives. By integrating the three tools of breath\, body\, and mind\, you can transcend reactive responses\, cultivate intentional living\, making your whole life a meditation. Join Senior teachers\, Celia Roberts and Sam Lindsay-German\, as they guide you with fierce compassion to reclaim your personal power. \n\n“Awareness is the power that is concealed within the present moment. The ultimate purpose of human existence\, which is to say\, your purpose\, is to bring that power into this world.” \n\n— Eckhart Tolle
