SUMMARY:Breathwork - A Journey into the Superconsciousness States
DESCRIPTION:Join Senior Yoga Teacher\, Celia Roberts BSc and Breathworker Alisa Craig for this special opportunity for you to explore your own states of consciousness at our Friday meditation retreat. These elevated states of awareness\, often referred to as “superconsciousness\,” have been mapped out in both yogic and Buddhist traditions\, called the Samadhi states and the Jhanas. Now\, thanks to modern research\, we also have scientific evidence that sheds light on what happens to the mind and body as we engage in rhythmic and somatic breathing practices. \nWe’ll begin the day with Compassion-Focused Therapy exercises\, helping to ground and embody a sense of safety before moving into deeper states of awareness. This will set the foundation for your nervous system to gently transition into altered states of consciousness. Afterward we will engage in a holotropic style of Breathwork practice for up to an hour. This style of breathing allows our nervous system and psyche to expand into a more open state of consciousness\, in that state it provides the opportunity to rewire\, repattern and recalibrate to become “whole”. Following the breathing will be a longer integration and reflection period – allowing those sacred “aha” moments to arise. \nParticipants will have the option to explore either open-mouthed holotropic breathwork\, which can evoke powerful shifts\, or a gentler\, closed-mouth breathing technique that may offer a more expansive experience for some. This will be a gentle day of nurture and holding. \nCelia Roberts will gently and safely guide you through yogic practices using the three essential tools that have been used throughout the ages to expand states of consciousness: breath\, body\, and mind. These foundational elements of yoga will be integrated to help you access deeper levels of awareness\, facilitating self-realisation. \nAlisa Craig\, with her fine mastery of breath\, will invite you to use your breath medicinally for healing. Celia and Alisa both invite you to use your breath to enter expansive states of consciousness where the thoughts can dissipate\, the default mode network switches off and one can enter into what the yogis call the Samadhi states. These states reveal the absolute truth to the seer.

SUMMARY:VEDIC CHANTING CLASSES
DESCRIPTION:Improve your memory and focus. –  Reduce mental agitation  –  Increase your breath capacity. –  Improve listening and communication skills –  Find and refine your own voice  –   Increase your self confidence. –  Strengthen you spiritual connection  –  Gain an overall sense of well-being!! \nVedic Chanting is yoga\, it is concentration\, meditation\, it is prāṇāyāma\, it is jñāna and it is bhakti. It is a commitment to learning something very deep. \nI am asked what the Vedas have to do with Yoga. Well\, the Vedas contain it\, the Vedas are themselves Yoga. That is what this is all about. \nThat said\, you don’t need anything to practice and learn. If you want to know something in you that will surprise you a lot\, this will surely interest you. It is not easy\, but it is enriching. It is not quick\, but it is one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard. \nChanting controls and transforms the Prāṇā\, it is a feeling of merging with the Universal vibration\, and it is rediscovering oneself anew in a practice very little known in the West. \nIn these classes you will learn how to pronounce Sanskrit\, you will learn the correct way to recite some Vedic mantras\, such as the popular Gāyatrī\, as it was taught in ancient times\, unchanged\, orally and following the rules of a South Indian lineage. \nYou don’t need to know how to sing\, or how to tune\,  in Vedic Chanting we only use 3 notes not 7 as in music \, this makes it accessible to everyone! \nChanting classes are conducted seated\, either on the floor or on a chair. It is important to feel comfortable so that you are able to focus only on the sound.  All chants will be taught through a “call and response” methodology\, using the aid of chant texts. The basic rules of Chanting\, along with general meanings of chants will be explained. \nThese classes are for you if you want to learn more about mantra practice. If you are a yoga teacher or student and you want to introduce Chanting in your classes or you want to work with mantras in your personal practice \nhttps://dendupratyoga.com/vedic-chant/ \n

SUMMARY:Hatha Yoga & Related Traditions with Carlos Pomeda
DESCRIPTION:What is the origin of Hatha Yoga? What is the mysterious Kundalini? How can I experience it and how can it help my practice? What is unique about the human body? How can yoga help me to understand my body? Above all\, how can these teachings help me to deepen my practice? These are some of the questions that we will be exploring at this upcoming seminar. Building up on the knowledge of the Tantric traditions\, the paths of kundalini yoga and hatha yoga present a radical approach in which the body is not an obstacle to spiritual life\, but rather the very vehicle to enhance our consciousness and develop a sense of connectedness with our world and ourselves\, at the deepest possible levels. This seminar will offer a fascinating tour of the hidden “anatomy” charted by the Tantric masters and will also present several powerful exercises to enhance our daily practice. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nInvestment $90 \nIf you would like to immerse yourself in a weekend of tantric yoga philosophy and practices with Carlos Pomeda please view and book ‘The Tantric Universe’ separately. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nbook now\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Carlos Pomeda \nOriginally from Madrid\, Spain\, Carlos has been steeped in all aspects of the yoga tradition during more than 50 years of practice and study. He spent 18 of those years as a monk of the Saraswati order\, under the name Swami Gitananda\, including 9 years of traditional training and practice in India. \nDuring this time he learned the various systems of Indian Philosophy and immersed himself in the practice of yoga\, becoming one of the senior monks of the tradition and teaching meditation and philosophy to tens of thousands of students around the world. He combines this experience and traditional training with his academic background\, which includes two Masters Degrees: one in Sanskrit\, from U.C. Berkeley (where he has taught) and another one\, in Religious Studies\, from U.C. Santa Barbara. \nCarlos currently lives in the US\, and travels extensively around the world conducting a variety of retreats\, courses\, seminars\, workshops and lectures on the Wisdom of Yoga and related subjects. As a teacher\, Carlos is renowned for the breadth of his knowledge and the clarity with which he conveys it. His great love of the Indian yoga traditions\, his insight\, his humor and his deep connection with his audiences give him the ability to transmit the deepest scriptural teachings in a way that is clear\, meaningful and applicable. SUMMARY:"Nourish' Yoga Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Our retreat: \nBe enriched by our daily practices of alignment-based hatha yoga\, breathwork\, meditation and yogic studies. \nThe beautiful Gymea Eco Retreat and Spa sits within a secluded rainforest at the base of Wollumbin (MtWarning) \, a World Heritage national park in the Northern rivers region of NSW. \nChristine du Fresne will be teaching alignment-based asana\, pranayama and restorative practices. \nCarlos Pomeda\, a former Swami and respected scholar with over 50 years of dedicated practice\, will be leading us in an exploration of how our bodies become a vehicle for transformation through the practices of hatha yoga and related traditions. Carlos brings a depth of understanding rarely found in today’s yoga world. His teachings are a blend of humility\, humour\, and unmatched knowledge that will open doors into a deeper understanding of yoga. \nHis gift for making ancient teachings accessible and relevant can shift our perspective and elevate both our yoga practice and the way in which we live. \nThis isn’t just theory—it’s an opportunity to engage with a teacher who offers profound insights into the world of yoga\, and life itself through the ancient wisdom of tantra\, celebrating the fullness of life.

SUMMARY:Finding Soul Space - Spring Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Join Sarah Collin\, Holistic Health Practitioner\, Senior Yoga Teacher\, and Yoga Therapist\, for a delightful spring retreat in the heart of the beautiful South West of WA and bask in a rejuvenating program of yoga\, sound therapy\, chanting\, and relaxation. \nFinding Soul Space is all about YOU. \nYou choose what to attend and how to spend your time. The retreat offers morning yoga\, relaxation\, and meditation.\nOur retreat begins on Friday evening with an Ayurvedic dinner\, followed by our opening circle and sound bath.\nHome-made morning tea is provided each day\, taken at a leisurely pace\, giving you time to enjoy the company of like-minded souls as you soak up the relaxed outdoor setting alongside the studio. \nOn Saturday\, Sarah will share the power of Vedic chanting and meditative vocal toning\, leading you into soulful chanting experiences.\nYou might like to stay cocooned at Premalaya for the weekend\, retreating deep into your soul space and making simple meals in your apartment\, or you might choose to take an outing to a local winery or cafe on Saturday for lunch or dinner as the program gives you space for whatever your soul desires. After you’ve enjoyed whatever delights you arranged for your Saturday dinner\, you are welcome to enjoy the open fire in the outdoor area on Saturday night. Sit with Sarah (who loves a good fire) and let the evening unfold in great company and conversation. Sometimes less is more. \nSunday will begin with morning yoga and chanting. Then it’s time to go back to your apartment to pack up and check out by 10 am\, but the retreat is not over. After checking out\, we enjoy another delicious leisurely morning tea and a couple of hours to do as you choose. Take in another sauna or massage\, go for a spring walk\, or simply enjoy some time to reflect before our ayurvedic lunch.\nAfter lunch\, we will come back to the yoga studio to enjoy a deep relaxation and mini sound bath before our closing circle ceremony. \nOoh\, I can’t wait to share this weekend with YOU.

SUMMARY:The Way of the Goddess Retreat
DESCRIPTION:he Way of the Goddess retreat\, 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘬𝘵𝘪 is the cosmic energy of the universe\, the embodiment of power and vitality\, animating and enlivening all of creation. This retreat is for those who feel called to deepen their understanding of the Goddess\, exploring her mythology\, stories and timeless wisdom to see how her presence shapes and guides our lives. She is the paradox of life itself…gentle\, fierce\, nurturing and destructive. To live harmoniously\, we must honour every facet of her being\, for in doing so\, we honour all parts of ourselves. When we invoke the Goddess within\, her qualities awaken in us. She guides us to cross thresholds with grace\, reclaim the sacred in the mundane\, let go of the well-worn story of not enoughness\, and embrace and take action on our desires and longings that we often put to the side. As we practice and connect with her energy\, we expand our capacity to hold more of what life puts on our plates. Coming into a relationship with this energy means knowing when to surrender\, when to hold on\, when to plant seeds\, when to harvest\, and how to break free from tension and old stories. > 𝘋𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘺 𝘌𝘮𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 & 𝘠𝘰𝘨𝘢 𝘗𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴 > 𝘚𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘔𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘦 > 𝘐𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘯 𝘕𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 > 𝘒𝘪𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯 & 𝘉𝘩𝘢𝘬𝘵𝘪 > 𝘊𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 & 𝘊𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘺
