In this stillness\, we can experience more subtle aspects of being that resides beyond the mind; a oneness and wholeness with all of life and a sense of profound peace. Mantra is a reminder to treat our words as sacred\, creative and divine.   What we think and say\, we create.  Inspired by Deepak Chopra’s ‘Seven Spiritual Laws of Success’\, these 10-15 minute seated practices offer reflection\, self enquiry\, connection and stillness through mantra repetition (japa) and meditation.  There are 7 recordings in this series which run through my ‘Radiant Wellbeing’ APP so you can practice anywhere\, anytime.

DESCRIPTION:Accept the purification power of life’s flow.” \n\nMichael Singer \nSurrender or letting go is vital in all spiritual disciplines\, religions and philosophies. When we learn to surrender to the moment in front of us\, we accept all just as it is in its complete perfection. Whatever previous thoughts or beliefs we have about an experience or situation\, we learn to completely let go. Ultimately\, we let go of old mental and bodily patterns and self-identification with form. True surrender in everyday life is initially challenging but finally possible within you in this lifetime\, and neurotheology research shows this practice leads to permanent change. When you must genuinely surrender due to a new level of insight\, it is critical to the enlightenment experience. This retreat will offer vital instructions for new-level insights and draw from practices outlined by yogic and Buddhist traditions to invite you into the states of Samādhi. We shall also explore the science of the brain and body in surrender\, peering through Maya\, the illusive reality\, whilst leaning into the experience of Samadhi.

It included extensive translations from Vedic texts\, notably Rigveda. \nIn 1988\, Vamadeva expanded the center into the “American Institute of Vedic Studies” to promote Yoga\, Vedanta\, Ayurveda and Vedic Astrology as Vedic knowledge systems\, related to his research and publications. \nDr. Frawley received the Padma Bhushan Award from President of India Pranab Mukherji in 2017 at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

DESCRIPTION:What is “fusion yoga”?\nIt’s a blend of (often opposing) yoga styles in one session that takes the student from one state of being to another. \nMany people recognise the Taiji symbol of Yin/Yang – one black and one white teardrop shape that merge into each other\, encompassed by a circle. Each teardrop contains within it a small “seed” of the other\, to acknowledge the dualistic nature of the world\, it’s forces and its inhabitants. \nMost yoga practices are Yang in nature. It is a commitment to learning something very deep. \nI am asked what the Vedas have to do with Yoga. Well\, the Vedas contain it\, the Vedas are themselves Yoga. That is what this is all about. \nThat said\, you don’t need anything to practice and learn. If you want to know something in you that will surprise you a lot\, this will surely interest you. It is not easy\, but it is enriching. It is not quick\, but it is one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard. \nChanting controls and transforms the Prāṇā\, it is a feeling of merging with the Universal vibration\, and it is rediscovering oneself anew in a practice very little known in the West. \nIn these classes you will learn how to pronounce Sanskrit\, you will learn the correct way to recite some Vedic mantras\, such as the popular Gāyatrī\, as it was taught in ancient times\, unchanged\, orally and following the rules of a South Indian lineage. \nYou don’t need to know how to sing\, or how to tune\,  in Vedic Chanting we only use 3 notes not 7 as in music \, this makes it accessible to everyone! \nChanting classes are conducted seated\, either on the floor or on a chair.
