Lesson 3: Practice a Mudra Sequence

gabrielle 7 May 2024

As practicing mudras is purely experiential, the benefits of mudras are to be experienced in your own practice first before you share them with others.

Mudras can be practiced individually or placed into a sequence.

For example, the mudras related to the elements could be placed in a sequence and practiced every day to balance the five elements in your own body.

As a creative teacher I like to pick a theme and base my mudras around that theme.

In the following video I have chosen the deity Ganesha as an example. The class begins with a short introduction to Ganesh and his story followed by the mudra sequence. There is an accompanying PDF below which gives the benefits of each mudra and how to practice them for your reference.
