Mark was the founder of Qi Health & Yoga in Manly and has practiced Yoga for 30 years with well over 12,000 teaching hours under his belt. He is a Senior/Level 3 member and a registered Mentor with Yoga Australia. He served on its National Executive for 3 years. He led a nationally-respected 12 month yoga teacher training program for 18 years and is passionate about raising teaching standards in modern yoga. He has been a long-time student of Donna Farhi and facilitated her training workshops in Sydney for many years.
Whilst respecting the ancient traditions of Yoga, you’ll find his teaching lively and sometimes irreverent but always engaging. Mark’s teaching use self-inquiry (swadhyaya) to inspire your curiosity to explore how to be truly happy through an organic, playful, grounded and mindful approach using all the tools of yoga, not just postures. With a gentle but intense Vinyasa style, he pays great attention to sequencing and breath in order to prepare the body and mind to receive the profound benefits of yoga.

His teaching encourages a tailored approach for each individual that emphasizes safety and alignment, leading us to realize this divine inner perfection lurking in us all.
