Course Structure includes:
With this 4 weeks course you will develop confidence and foundation for the practice of yoga. This course is designed to start and progress your yoga practice.
Week 1: Introduction to yoga, how to prepare your body, warm up and start your practice, for the ways to activate your core muscles.
Week 2: The upper body – down-face dog, kneeling to full planks, cobra to the up-facing dog.
Week 3: The lower body – standing warrior postures, ways to find balance
Week 4: Putting it all together – How to modify stepping forward and back into lunges. How to move with breath (pranayama), Tips to stay present (meditation) finish with a guided relaxation (Yoga Nidra)
Part of this program is flow the postures into 3 practices of Sun Salutations - sequences which will present all asanas learned
Teacher:
Your teacher is Nubia. She has been teaching yoga since 2005. And started her practice early 1991. Nubia has Bachelor degree in Physical Education/Sports, qualifications of Personal trainer,Remedial Massage Therapist and Student of Health Science - Acupuncture since 2018.
