Course Overview

Designed for serious students who are looking to deepen their understanding of Ayurveda. 

A 14 Day Guided Immersion in Ayurveda at Aligning Health Retreat to help you in your personal practice or to apply the principles into your current practice. 

An amazing course for both interested people and health practitioners alike. 

What You Will Learn

Students study curriculum based on nationally accredited training. 

This includes;

  • Exploration of Health Care Industry
  • Specifics of Ayurveda Health Care
  • 4 Pillars of Ayurveda Health, 
  • Ayurvedic Physiology to include;             Guna, Dosha, Panchamabhuta
  • Applied Dosha analysis,
  • Applied Ayurveda Psychology,
  • Applied Ayurveda Anatomy,
  • Kitchen Pharmacy
  • Applied Ayurveda Nutrition,
  • Ayurveda Pharmacology, 
  • Ayurveda Lifestyle Routines,
  • Introduction to Constitutional Analysis, 
  • 3 Fold Diagnostics,
  • 8 Fold Diagnostics.

Students may select one elective from the following to support their studies;

  • Introduction to Ayurveda Nutrition,
  • Beating Depression, 
  • Being Healthy Naturally.

Course Delivery

Students participate in a 14 day Practical Intensive at Aligning Health Retreat. 

Course Delivery includes;

  • Daily Yoga Classes,
  • Daily tuition by expert teachers, 
  • Shared Accommodation, 
  • All Meals, 
  • 100 page Ayurveda Course Manual,
  • Studying with like-minded students,
  • Use of all the Retreat Facilities.

All student who complete the Certificate in Ayurvedic Lifestyle Support are eligible to apply for the following courses:

  • Diploma of Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultation (HLT52615)
  • Diploma of Ayurveda Yoga Teaching (10579NAT)

  • Course fees already received will be deducted from the costs to upgrade qualifications.

  • Recognition of prior learning will be awarded to graduates.  

Yoga Teachers, Yoga Therapists and Health Care Practitioners can apply the skills learned into the current practice to offer a natural and holistic approach to health care. 

CPD Points are available for Yoga Associations and Ayurveda Associations.
