Deb welcomes beginners to yoga or those who are finding their way back to yoga.
Discover how Yoga works from the inside-out to relieve stress and to bring you back to balance, to your best self.
There are so many benefits of rolling out your mat and practicing Yoga, they include:
Lowering stress levels, balances out the nervous system, strengthens bones, improves flexibility, enhances your mood, allows you to slow down and reconnect with yourself, it’s non- competitive, adaptable for every body and age group, it’s empowering, and it’s fun!
What will I Learn?
The foundations of a Vinyasa practice, a little bit of history and philosophy of Yoga
Pranayama (breath) to focus the mind, and how to use the breath while moving with body awareness
Asana (posture) safe alignment and the benefits of some key poses.
Learning how to modify your practice using props to suit your needs
Guided Relaxations allowing the body to rest and digest
After this five week course you can confidently step into a class and continue your Yoga journey with us feeling safe and supported along the way.
So don’t worry if you can’t touch your toes or aren’t flexible enough, it’s not a prerequisite to do Yoga.
Some people will never be able to touch their toes if their skeletal structure doesn’t allow it, so it’s good news to know that Yoga is for everyone!
