Make your wellbeing a priority. A half-day, mini retreat to attend to your self-care.

Navigate 2021 as you plan to go on: relaxed and rejuvenated. With almost every aspect of life planned to the minute, now’s the time to plan for your own self-care. Imagine looking at your diary and finding ‘self-care’ prescheduled – all you have to do is show up and relax.

A question for you. Does this sound familiar...?

So often you've 'filled up your cup' only to have poured its contents into situations around you that have needed attending to. And then, you were left with an 'empty cup', the contents of which never had a chance to attend to you.

The Fill up My Cup half-day mini retreats are a time for you to relax and recharge so you can 'fill up your cup' and then some - so there's something left for you!

Experience the sense of spaciousness that comes from retreating, even for a few hours, from daily life. Retreat and treat yourself to:

• Working the stress-knots out of the body with a bit of gentle, mindful movement,

• Time for reflection and perhaps a bit of perspective-setting,

• Breathing deeply and easily and,

• Settling into the sweet territory of stillness with a delicious relaxation practice.

Why half-day, urban retreats?

We know that for most over-stretched professionals it’s not realistic to carve out time for regular week-long retreats. In fact, sometimes just trying to do so causes more stress and that’s the last thing we want to do!

This series is your time to reflect on what self-care genuinely looks like for you and to then plan to set yourself up to regularly attend to your wellbeing in everyday life, life outside of the mini retreat.

Half-day mini retreats are your pathway to self-care and includes:

• Gentle mindful movement practices that are a blend of Hatha Yoga stretches and the flowing, rhythmic movements of Qi Gong,

• Deep breathing exercises to calm the nervous system,

• Reflection time and sharing,

• Guided meditation practice to relax the body and ease the mind and,

• A deep relaxation practice.

Benefits of cultivating self-care and self-compassion include:

• People who score higher on self-compassion also report lower levels of anxiety and depression,

• They also show less rumination and thought suppression, and

• When people become more self-compassionated, they're more likely to correct mistakes and make changes that are needed.
