This is a nationally recognised First Aid course that covers emergency situations that may occur in a yoga class – including fainting, muscular injuries, damaged bones, incident management and heart conditions – plus all basic first aid skills and CPR.

You will also learn how to use your yoga skills in a unique way in an emergency situation.

This professional course will cover all your first aid requirements for your insurance company and yoga organisation membership, and includes the following qualifications:

Provide First Aid (HLTAID003) – for 3 years

Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID001) – for 1 year

As Yoga Professionals, we practice the Yama of Ahimsa (non-violence) with love – which includes helping a student who may have a first aid emergency while under our duty of care during a yoga class.

Enjoy practical hands-on learning from a yoga perspective, to help you to understand what you need to do in an emergency, and why.

Knowing you have the first aid skills specific to teaching yoga helps to give you extra confidence to teach every class.

Complete this course in 3 easy steps:

  1. Book this course by phoning Matt on 0427539382, or email firstaidmatt@icloud.com, or visiting the website: http://www.firstaidmidnorthcoast.com.au/product/first-aid-course-for-yoga-teachers-on-the-4-june-2017-in-sydney/
  2. Complete a Pre-course Workbook (Online, Ebook or Video) at your own convenience
  3. Attend a Practical Training Session on Sunday, 4 June, from 10am to 4pm, at Mosman Village Yoga Studio, Sydney

This is a fun, hands-on practical training session. There’s no boring power points or sleep inducing lectures.

The course is carefully formatted to provide you with the confidence to administer first aid. Easy enough to understand and simple enough to remember.

First Aid includes doing CPR and using an defibrillator, so be sure to wear loose, comfortable clothing. For those with injuries or limited mobility, we can make a reasonable adjustment to your training session.

This course is run in partnership and under the auspices of Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909
