There are so many benefits to working with mantra in your own practice. A sense of connection and peace is the most profound effect of chanting. Other benefits may include - increased breath control, lower blood pressure, support digestion, ease muscle tension and prepare for pranayama and meditation. Mantra draws the senses inward; in this stillness we can experience our true essence of unchanging wellbeing and wholeness. From our embodied experience we can then share this beautiful practice with others.
Gabrielle is passionate about creating and delivering programs that support bringing balance and meaning into the busyness of life. When we find ways to fill our own cup, we can give from the overflow. She is an IAYT certified yoga therapist, senior yoga teacher and iRest Yoga Nidra certified teacher. Gabrielle believes that Yoga has been her rock; through the illness and death of her father, navigating teenage boys and the emotional roller coaster of menopause at 43. Yoga is her constant companion, a source of strength, and voice of inner wisdom and guidance. Through practice she finds clarity, stillness, patience and peace.
