Restoring Balance: yoga for mental wellbeing is a 5 week yoga course specifically designed for people with experiences of depression, anxiety and/or trauma who would like to explore yoga away from a general class environment.

  • Learn yoga postures to release tense muscles and increase motivation – Learn breathing techniques to manage anxiety by activating the parasympathetic nervous system
  • Learn Yoga Nidra, sleep-based guided meditation practice for deep relaxation and restoration
  • Learn mindfulness techniques for managing challenging thoughts and emotions
  • Lean about yoga wisdom to help you connect to yourself and your body in a more accepting and loving way
