One of the goals of the Ayurveda Yoga teacher is conveying this message to students. The material covered in this topic provides an overview on the history and philosophy of Ayurveda. It discusses the theory of Ayurveda to provide a comprehensive understanding of the theory of Ayurveda nutrition. including daily and seasonal routines.
Students will develop skills in comprehensive analysis of the Ayurvedic diet on health. Ayurveda Yoga teachers must be able to integrate an understanding of Ayurveda into their Yoga teachings to communicate the interplay of the qualities of food and the impact this has on their bodies and consequently their Yoga practice. Students receive practical instruction in Ayurveda cooking along with course work designed to assess the practical use of food within the context of yoga teaching.
