Thai Yoga Massage originated in India 2500 years ago and is based on the ancient healing systems of Ayurveda and is a deeply relaxing, sequence-based massage with assisted yoga stretches.

  • Thai Yoga massage is invigorating (unlike traditional Thai massage - often described as painful); our qualified practitioners will seek your feedback and will adjust the degree of pressure and stretching as required;
  • Applying pressure to tender muscle fibre adhesions (known as 'muscle knots') can hurt; there is a difference between discomfort and pain due to excessive or inappropriate pressure and stretching. While it may be difficult to avoid some discomfort when targeting muscle knots, our qualified practitioners will be able to adjust the massage pressure and movements to ensure comfort.

The sessions will assist in eliminating physical and mental pressures, and take you to a place of bliss.
The practitioner uses their hands, thumbs, elbows, knees, legs and feet to move you into a series of yoga-like stretches and applies muscle compression, joint mobilisation, and acupressure palming and thumbing along the body's energy (Sen) lines and pressure points - no oils or lotions are used.
