Ngungwulah is supporting Yoga Australia in their launch of the Reconciliation Action Plan for the yoga community across Australia. With over 33,000 yoga teachers and 100 active yoga teacher courses, this country has SO much yoga going on.

Yogis are focused on all kinds of things :

  • being fully present
  • deep listening
  • optimising our bodies, minds and spirits to be of service
  • connecting to ourselves and others
  • the central role of sound and chanting

Yoga (a Sanskrit word) is from India, a nation which has long held Yoga and shared it across the world in deep reverence.

Yoga is an evolutionary discipline, evolving to support humanity wherever the practice may be.

How might yoga evolve across Australia so that we find ways to Connect to Country, Listen Deeply to Country and Care for Country?

How might we inform our yoga practice through respect and deep listening to the Traditional Custodians in this land?

In doing this how might we redress the imbalances and heal the hurts we labor under here in Australia?

Join us in celebrating teaching our life changing practice of Yoga on this beautiful land surrounded by sea, sky and waters.

This Country has been held in custodianship through continuous and deep connection to Country by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the first peoples of this nation.
