Mind Body Meditation combines breathing, relaxation, awareness, visualization, and intention-setting in an embodied mindfulness practice that aims to support each practitioner in stress management, relaxation, mind-body awareness, self-regulation, and visualization skills.
Each technique can be used on their own as short practices to lead into relaxation or Savasana, often at the end of a movement class. Or, combine techniques in a sequence for a longer, deeper meditation experience of up to 1 hour.
Study areas include teaching skills, practice philosophy, accessibility, ethics and scope of practice, risk management, the role of the teacher, and practice and teaching guidelines.
