Christine's classes are a blend of her 40 years experience as a yoga practitioner and her lifelong passion for exploring many styles of yoga. Trained as an Alexander Technique teacher, Satyananda yoga, Scaravelli inspired, and Trauma Centre Trauma Sensitive Yoga teacher, Christine has a strong connection with traditional classical yoga and the modifications required for western bodies and minds. Classes are trauma informed, supportive, inclusive and can be described as mindful movement.
Using the breath, spine and grounding with any practices can change the experience and bring freedom to the body. Releasing into movement rather than pushing or forcing into a posture allows the body to find its own wisdom and way of being. The simplicity and beauty of yoga to explore the body, change the quality of movement and benefit everyday life is available to anyone.
