With over 20 years of experience in Naturopathy, Therapeutic Massage, and Osteopathy, Therese brings a unique approach to the practice of Yoga. She has been a guest speaker at St George Hospital, the Hypoglycemic Association and the St George Cancer Support Group, and has taught both Nutrition and Massage at Nature Care College.

Therese’s interest in Yoga was initially personal. She gained benefits such as weight loss, tone, flexibility, stamina and reduced stress and anxiety. These dramatic improvements in her health inspired her to incorporate Yoga Therapy into her practice.

Commencing her yoga journey in 2004 and then receiving her Diploma in Yoga Teacher Training in 2009. She began to teach yoga to naturopathic clients as part of their health regime and noticed that it gave them added vitality taking their health to the next level. Therese has a Postgraduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy, she completed an internship in India with Dr Natesan Chandrasekaran at the Viniyoga Healing Foundation India.

Teaching yoga has enabled Therese to pursue her passion to work with the complex intricacies of the body, mind and breath in the tradition of Viniyoga.  Students in her class have commented on the increased energy, improved sleep, weight loss, a sense of calm, enhanced concentration at work or study and reduced neck and back pain. Viniyoga is the therapeutic application of yoga with a more personalised approach and regard for the individual. The asana (exercises) are progressive towards achieving mobility and flexibility and strength.
