Teacher Training Course Registration

When considering your application, a great place to start is our Curriculum: Becoming A Yoga Professional, which covers all levels of registration from 200 hours right up to 1000 hours of training (each matched with hours of teaching and practice experience). Criteria have been developed to assist training providers in achieving high level outcomes for their students. This bolsters the profession of yoga in the eyes of studio owners and the public.

Level 3 Registered Teachers and Level 2 Registered Teachers (with support from a Level 3 Teacher) can deliver Teacher Training Courses in Australia. Details on the way we assess courses can also be found here.

Much of our support if offered to prevalent styles of yoga in Australia (those centred around asana and hatha techniques), and yet this curriculum supports schools who teach seated practice and meditation. All forms of yoga are covered, including those rooted in the traditions of the Upanishads can develop a qualification under this model.
