Bio

Chrisann’s love of yoga began in 2004 when she started working in the Higher Education sector in NSW. Since moving to QLD in 2007, she has regularly practised different styles of yoga including Ashtanga, Hatha, Power Yoga, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga. After nearly 15 years as a lecturer at QUT, she took her love of yoga to the next level and embarked on a new journey by undertaking a year of Yoga Teacher Training. Chrisann is very grateful that she is now doing what she loves and loving what she does – she launched her wellness business called Wellness through Yoga on the New Year’s Day (also her birthday) in 2023. She has been teaching yoga classes in a little community gallery in Lowood (where her little farm is) and she is loving every minute of it. 😊 She also teaches private yoga sessions in her home in Indooroopilly, local parks and in clients’ homes. From September 2023, Wellness Retreats have been added in her service offering.

Chrisann helps people practise mindfulness through yoga, breathwork and meditation. It is Chrisann’s intenation on her yoga journey to find self-englightenment and inner peace, both for her own sake, and for others. Namaste.
