| Bio | Claire has practised Bikram Yoga consistently and regularly since March 2006, at 87 studios around the world – so far! She completed her Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in June 2012 and has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience through her role as a teacher since this time. To date, she has taught at 54 yoga schools in 27 cities around the globe and has been mentored by some of the most respected and highly experienced teachers in the Bikram Yoga community. Claire is a widely-recognised and esteemed member of this global yoga family. In recent years, Claire has also successfully launched her yoga business enterprise, ‘Belong Yoga with Claire’. Claire teaches from the heart, with energy and enthusiasm, aspiring to connect with her students and continually encourage and inspire them. She prides herself on extensive understanding of posture technique, mechanics and benefits, attention to detail and the ability to recognise the physical capabilities and mental strengths of her students. Assisting others embrace the yoga and in turn, receiving its countless benefits brings her joy. Claire has already presented a number of Bikram Yoga Posture Workshops at studios in Australia and Europe and she also offers private yoga lessons for students. Through coaching and feedback sessions, Claire actively provides support and mentoring for Bikram Yoga teachers, whilst also maintaining a commitment to her own furthering education, growth and development. Although Bikram Yoga is Claire’s passion, she regularly teaches Yin Yoga classes and has assisted with Kids Yoga programs for a number of years. She has participated in Yoga Asana Championships since 2009 (including achieving medal placement) and still periodically practises both the Intermediate and Advanced yoga sequences. |
