I discovered Yoga in 1995 when I bought my first yoga book and started practising at home at 5am every morning. Life then took me in different directions over the years, but I came back to Yoga in 2015 with a greater understanding and appreciation. Since then, I have been practising yoga regularly and have explored a range of disciplines and yoga teachers.
Over time, I felt inspired to undertake a yoga teacher training, so that I can share the benefits of yoga with others. I completed my initial Yoga Teacher Training in Western Australia with Shantarasa Yoga, focusing on traditional Hatha Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Meditation. Later on, I also completed teacher training in Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Chair Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Special Needs (Pregnancy) Yoga in Western Australia.
I feel forever grateful for the enriching experience that yoga offers. Having a full time and a very demanding job in the business world, yoga has brought a very special gift in my life – a spiritual shift in my life outlook that orients to our true essence, to a place of inner equanimity.
