Jill Healy-Quintard of Body and Balance Fitness and Wellness is a specialist in Mind/Body connection of the benefit of exercise. Her mantra is Movement is Medicine for the Mind.Body.Heart.Spirit.

She offers classes, training, one on one sessions and Transformational Coaching for women over 50 navigating hormonal changes and the incredible benefits of moving through menopause to post menopause with joy and anticipation of living the best life as a wiser, older, stronger, fitter, happier and healthier woman experiencing a balanced mindset and goals for a fabulous future..

Pilates, YogaPilates Fusion®, Yoga Nidra, ChiBall Method, TribalGROOVE Method, BodyBarre® and STUDIO Pilates. She also runs Fitness and Wellness workshops in Stress Management, Yoga Nidra Meditation, Posture and the Workplace and teaches general classes, small group and private sessions in her Manly Vale Studio, Sydney, either Face to Face or Live Streamed as well as various corporate and school locations. Jill is happy to show you how beneficial her Fitness and Wellness programs are for the health and wellbeing of everyone.

Jill has written and published 2 books, YogaPilates Fusion: A MindBody and Balanced Practice published in 2029 and released at the State Library of NSW in 2021  and her 2nd book Open the Gate or Living a Life of Infinite Possibilities. YogaPilates Fusion went to number 1 on the Amazon Book list in 2022.

Jill has been actively involved in the Fitness Industry for 43 years teaching in Australia and France. She advocated for wellness to be inclusive with fitness for over 25 years and is more than happy to recognise this has now been embraced wholeheartedly and has opened the gate to many holistic trainings becoming part of the Australian Fitness Industry.

Jill was named National Yoga Business of the Year 2022 as well as National Pilates Professional of the Year 2022 by AUSactive, Australia.

Jill won an award as an Iconic Woman of the Century for her contribution to women’s health and wellbeing in 2017 at the Women’s Economic Forum.

She has also been named Top 3 Finalist in the Australian Fitness Awards in 2005, 2006 and 2007 for her developments, contributions and achievements in the Australian Fitness Industry. Jill was nominated and named as a finalist in the Fitness Professional of the Year Awards for 2008. Jill has presented her Body and Balance Yoga/Pilates Fusion and Fitness in France and at the Australian Fitness Network Conferences in Brisbane and Melbourne and is instructing Pilates and Yoga instructors with this program. Jill also has written and presented her unique 10 minute YogaNidra with Intentions for Busy people in a Busy world that can be done in schools, corporate and more. This was presented for ExerciseNZ in 2023 and at the Wise Women’s Gathering in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Having had 2 Total Hip Replacement in 2007 and in 2014 Jill managed to recuperate so well that she returned to teaching within 6 weeks of each surgery.

Jill said “I realise that not even 2 THR could stop me for long. I feel excited that I have new hips, renewed life and am able to continue my work with people of all ages and fitness levels.”

Jill also writes Fitness and Wellness articles for magazines, her own Fitness blog and client newsletters on the latest Mind/Body fitness and health trends. She is also a Judge for the prestigious AUSactive awards and is currently featured on a Global Wellness Platform called Blisspot where she shares YogaNidra and Keeping Your Working Mind and Body Fit that includes her 10 minute YogaNidra for the ultimate relax/recover at work, at gyms, at home, anywhere that relaxing with positive intentions is required.

Jill has many qualifications including a Diploma in Yoga Therapies, Advanced Mat with Stott Pilates, a ChiBall Master Trainer and GROOVE Method facilitator to name a few.

Jill is also a qualified Teacher for Special Needs children and Sport, Shiatsu and Remedial Massage Therapist and brings her extensive training and knowledge to all her classes and workshops.
