My yoga journey started in the1990’s at The Margaret River Yoga School with Shane Moody. The love of the practise and it’s profound impact on my life has positively influenced my home life, relationships, world view, travel and all of what life has gifted my way.

A 10 year career as a remedial massage therapist was the perfect stepping stone which led me to becoming a yoga teacher in 2004, undertaking my original 500hr teacher training with FINY in Perth.

Sharing my love of yoga with the Geraldton community for 21 years. Over that time, I have been lucky enough to continue my own personal development with many inspirational teachers here in Australia and overseas.

Im a registered Senior Teacher with Yoga Australia, teaching hatha, myofascial release and restorative yoga at Geraldton Yoga Studio. Ive been facilitating specialised classes for The Cancer Council WA, Headspace Geraldton, RUAH, Palliative Care and The Physiotherapy Department at the regional hospital plus 17 years of co-creating weekend yoga retreats and immersion days.

My teaching style has evolved to offer people the space to develop a relationship with their body, breath and mind. Guiding them to build the capacity to make confident, informed choices by creating clearer communication amongst all the parts of themselves. Learning the art of applying effort and softening into whatever they discover.

I love to weave a blend of yoga philosophy, science based research and lighthearted moments into the classes which creates a real sense of yoga community and support between everyone. An atmosphere in which we are all learning and leaning into this incredible mind/body/energy practise called yoga.
