Biography
| Bio | Richard has taught yoga since 1974. From 1973 – 1986 he received extensive yoga teacher training and mentoring under the late Dorotea Mangiamele, founder of Mangala Studios of Yoga and Creative Dance. Richard began his association with the International Yoga Teachers Association (IYTA) in 1973, and became a full member of IYTA in 1991. After 56 years the descision to dissolve the association was made in August of 2023, when Richard transferred to Yoga Australia as a senior teacher. Through his practice of Japanese ink painting and calligraphy, Richard brings an artistic and creative dimension to the postures, concentration and flow of energy in the yoga classes.
