Robyn Lewis is a registered yoga therapist with more than a decade’s experience in a wide range of settings including school, community, corporate, aged care/dementia and correctional environments as well as with clients with special needs (NDIS).

Prior to becoming a yoga professional, Robyn was a high school educator and an ACT Government senior manager.

She is a small business owner and director (Yoga Enlightenment) based in Canberra Australia, focusing on providing yoga that is accessible to all students who wish to explore and enjoy the practice of yoga. Robyn’s yoga classes include all techniques and experiences including philosophy, history, asana, pranayama, mudra, mantra, mindfulness, meditation and relaxation.

Robyn aims to support students to incorporate yoga into their daily lives to increase health, wellbeing and vitality. She provides choice in all practices to ensure that students are empowered to exercise autonomy and to practice yoga safely and intelligently.

Robyn has completed a four-year term on the Board of Yoga Australia, is a senior, level 3 Yoga teacher, registered mentor and part of the Yoga Australia Council of Advisors. She trains yoga teachers in her 50-hour registered chair yoga PD and also serves the community as a palliative care volunteer.

In 2020, Robyn was awarded a Churchill Fellowship for the exploration of yoga for cognitive stimulation in people with a diagnosis of dementia, with engagement in the UK, US, New Zealand and India. In 2023, she commenced a full time PhD scholarship at the University of Canberra focusing on best practice models of dementia care.
