Sharing over 9500 teaching hours, including workshops and retreats, and coupled with her knowledge in anatomy and Ayurveda, Shelleys’ classes are deeply nourishing and offer the practitioner the invitation to journey beyond the asana, intimately meeting all parts of themselves and learning the art of deep listening.
Shelley is passionate in her delivery of the practice, meeting the practitioner where they are, finding stillness and acceptance in the places where resistance resides whether this be emotional, physical or mental. An avid Bhakti yogi, Shelley found yoga through long days in hospitality, and has gently interwoven the medicine into her daily life over the last 29 years. Exploring and training in Ayurveda in 2013, Training with Judith Lasater to finely tune the Nervous System in 2010 and her initial training in 2005 with Radiant Light Yoga, coupled with Yin Yoga in 2015, and Somatic Training in 2019, Shelley’s love of this phenomenal Science continues to grow. Yoga is the medicine for the changing face of our times, the medicine for NOW.
