Morning Session: Express & Balance (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM) Dive into understanding the nervous system with a focus on expression and balance. Explore the polyvagal theory, learn movement and sound practices like AUM chanting to stimulate the vagus nerve, and engage in Hatha Yoga and Pranayama to harmonize mind and emotions. Afternoon Session: Relax & Nourish (1:30 PM – 4:30 PM) Embrace relaxation and nourishment for the mind and body. This session will guide you through calming breathing techniques, Yoga Nidra, and restorative yoga practices, fostering a deep sense of peace and rejuvenation. Evening Program: Sacred Connection (5:30pm – 7:00pm) Conclude the day with a sacred gathering featuring Satsang, Havan, and Kirtan. Swami Karma Karuna Saraswati is an experienced yoga and meditation teacher, inspirational speaker, and IAYT-certified Yoga Therapist with over 30 years of experience. Trained in the Bihar School of Yoga lineage across Nepal, India, and Australia, she continues to deepen her practice annually under Swami Niranjanananda and Swami Satyasangananda at Rikhia Peeth. Certified by Yoga Alliance and holding a certificate in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy, she is a senior teacher and council member of Yoga New Zealand. With a BA in Interpersonal Communications and a minor in Psychology, her work is influenced by her early passion for group and individual dynamics. As co-founder and director of Anahata Yoga Retreat in New Zealand, she travels globally to lead workshops and retreats.
