20hr Yin Yoga / MFR / Acu points workshop Sydney 2024

Join Mel McLaughlin, The Yin Space, for a deeper look into your Yin sides where we will be integrating MFR (myofascial release techniques and equipment) and including Acupressure points and their meaning.
This 20hr Advanced Yin Yoga & Myo-Fascia release Teacher Training module is open to anyone! Please come and join if you are a Yin Yoga graduate of any previous yin yoga training / movement therapists and avid students of any movement modality.

The course material you can look forward to will include:
Morning Qigong warm-ups, Yin & MFR (90min practical class)
Fascia study inc how it responds to different MFR techniques
The Use of different equipment to elicit different response in the fascia and why
Acupressure study of key points we can address in MFR and Yin Yoga
Sequences integrating MFR techniques into our practices
Finishing with 1hr class on each day to tie everything together somatically and intellectually
This course is for any graduate or practitioner who is ready to unravel deeper layers to teach to and learn more about the benefits of MFR techniques in a YIN setting. These techniques can be applied to any modality of healing/therapies.
ABOUT MELANIE MCLAUGHLIN
Mel has been passionate about a yin-style practice for over 14 years, through her own personal practice and self-study. In 2012 Mel formalised her training with Paul Grilley, and since then has acquired 240hrs through his Teacher Training programs in the USA. She continues to revisit him and other experts for ongoing training, and now shares this wealth of experience, insight and expertise through her very own Yoga Australia recognized 100-hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training, 50hr Yin Teacher Training, and Advanced Yin Teacher Training courses. She is excited to be sharing this Advanced module with you and integrate her knowledge of Yin Yoga, Qigong, MFR , Metaphysics and Acu-Energetics.
COURSE LOGISTICS
The course will be held in central Sydney (10 minute walk from both central train station and railway square bus station, and a shorter walk from Redfern train station. Weekend paid parking is also available close by in multi stories, and some free street parking)

Yoga Mat, bolster of any size, two yoga blocks.

PRE-REQUISITES
This course is open to both existing teachers & anyone who wishes to learn more for themselves only.Â
please note *Participants who wish to gain a teaching certificate for this Advanced Yin Yoga & MFR Training will need to have successfully completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training course prior to commencing the Yin Yoga Teacher Training (copy of certificate must be submitted for verification).
RECOGNITION
This training is recognized by YA for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points and member upgrades. You will receive 20 CPD points.
