Full Day Retreat : The Power of Pranayama

An essential part of any yoga practice, pranayama is often translated as ‘energy’ (prana) ‘control’ (yama) and also as prana-ayama: ‘energy expansion’. Both are true. We learn pranayama to control breath, energy and mind, with an outcome of pure, blissful release.
This day will delve into many of the pranayamas : for vitality, balance, tranquility and meditation. The day is experiential; time to immerse yourself, and so notes will be available for later reference.
Suitable for all with some knowledge of traditional yoga
