“Spring Wilderness Immersion” Dungog 2024
September 6, 2024 @ 2:00 PM – September 8, 2024 @ 2:00 PM AEST

Sarah Downs (Senior Yoga Teacher / Remedial Massage Therapist) and Leah Suters (Yoga Teacher / Massage Therapist / Ayurvedic Chef) are holding 2 retreats this 2024 Spring.   Our mission is that your body, mind and spirit are zinging after these retreats and you have plenty of clarity and energy to move through Spring into Summer.
6-8th September at Wangat Lodge https://www.wangat.com.au/
$895 TWIN & $1200 PRIVATE
Includes 4 yoga sessions:
- a dynamic morning practice (with gentle options) before breakfast
 - a Restorative Yoga session (Yin) before dinner

There will also be after dinner meditations (2 sessions) with live music on Saturday afternoon/night practices by Bek Wermut @harpbeatmusic. :
- Yoga Nidra (non-sleep deep rest / guided body scan)
 - Sound Bath and/or chanting

And optional talks will be on offer (both 30 mins):
- Leah talks on Self Care including mindful eating, abhyanga (self-massage), journalling, etc in the opening circle on Friday afternoon
 - Sarah talks on dissolving habits and creating new ones to effect change using visualisation, affirmation, manifestation, gratitude and kaizen after lunch on Saturday afternoon

We will include silent practices (quiet time after nightly meditation and before breakfast) and Dan, our Wangat Property owner, will guide us on a forest walk focusing on “mindfulness” and his deep connection and commitment to our earth.  The property has exquisite walking trails and opportunities to forest bathe.
There is plenty of free time to swim in the river/waterfalls and connect with pristine wilderness to cleanse, ground and centre.
Massage is an optional extra for an additional cost (needs to be booked 2 weeks prior).
Both Leah Suters and Sarah Downs are yoga teachers and massage therapists with decades of experience. Leah will be your Ayurvedic chef providing a sumptuous, seasonal, colourful and creative menu.
A retreat allows the practitioner to go a lot deeper into their practice and internal world than they would usually in a daily practice or regular class. It can offer the opportunity to evaluate, let go and transform.
