Sleep has always been a priority in allowing us to function well and feel steady in our daily life. Yoga Therapy looks at pacification of the nervous system as a necessary tool to prepare us for quality rest.
How do we nurture the nervous system for better health?

This special workshop will present Yoga understandings and tools to relax the nervous system alongside the Ayurvedic understanding of sleep patterns and cycles so that you can best understand how to support yourself to achieve optimal rest.
Experience breath practices and simple yoga postures that may support the body to wind down in preparation for restorative sleep.
An iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation centred around nervous system relaxation will be offered.

Suitable for all wishing to acquire better knowledge and habits via these ancient traditions.
Handouts for practice at home will be included.
