Bio

Pingtzir has been practising yoga for decades. He completed his teacher training with the International Yoga Teachers Association. He is a member of International Yoga Teachers Association, Yoga Australia, and is a Continuing Education Provider (YACEP) and an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).

The classes are a fusion of Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga, providing an understanding of the underlying philosophy of Yoga. Believing in a holistic, practical, safe and inclusive approach to Yoga, he provides individual attention to participants who are new to yoga as well as those that are experienced, allowing them to practise within their own capabilities. He can provide guidance to those with scoliosis and spinal conditions as well as those with lung or breathing conditions.

Yoga is not just about physical Asana (posture movements), which increase strength and flexibility, whilst helping to release tension in the muscles allowing the blood to flow freely through the body, it also includes Pranayama (breathing techniques), Dhyana (meditation) and relaxation in the path to achieving Samadhi (self-realisation).
