My first yoga studio experience was an unforgettable one, which left me with such a beautiful zen-like feeling that I could not, not go back for more and more. This was just what I needed, although at the time did not know I needed it so badly, having been super busy working full time as a research assistant and the mum of two young boys at the time.
It was only in 2018, I felt the need to delve a little deeper into this ‘magical’ healing practice of yoga and proceeded to complete a Yoga Teacher Training course in 2019. My knowledge became very handy in the next few years with the start of the Covid pandemic and ensuing lockdowns when I noticed the distress in the high school students and staff I was working with at the time and felt it was the only right thing to do i.e. to teach this practice to all to relieve their distress and increase wellbeing. There was so much appreciation and need for this that I slowly opened up my teachings to other schools.
With this new-found knowledge I feel inspired and compelled to pass it on to as many people as possible, making it accessible to all, so that all may feel empowered and reap the benefits of this practice.
